Blessed To Bear Good Fruit🍒

Evangelist LaTonya P. Jones

As Christians, one of the main tasks set before us is to love and exemplify Christ in all things we do and say. When the Holy Spirit guides our lives and we have an intimate relationship with Christ, we start to exhibit qualities of character called the fruits of the Spirit! These fruits are produced in our lives when we are aligned with God’s word and His will. They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. God is the source of this true agape love, which is unconditional and never changing.

When we walk in the spirit, we are not gratified by the desires of the flesh. The flesh desires are contrary to the spirit which are things like sexual immorality (adultery, fornication) impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. God has warned us that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

What does it profit a man to gain the whole world or continue to feed the lust of the flesh by indulging in the things of the world and end up losing his soul? Hell is a real place, and it’s a place none of us desires to go to.

So, strive daily to walk in the light by exemplifying the fruits of the Spirit! Let your light shine where others see your good deeds and praise your father in Heaven. Though we are forbidden to judge any man, the Holy Spirit will show us the true hearts of people, where we can decipher a tree by the fruit it bears! It’s like being a fruit inspector where we are knowledgeable of the individuals we are in contact with by their actions, and the words that come out of their mouths. Remember, bad company corrupts good measures! So stay focused, crucify your flesh, and continue to let the fruits of the Holy Spirit rest, rule, and abide in your life in Jesus’ Name!🙏🏾

wftw_Set Up For The Come Up

Set Up For The Come Up 🙌🏽

On this resurrection weekend, as we reflect on the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it’s imperative to remember that ALL things work together for the good of those that love God and live their lives according to HIS purpose!

God so loved this world that HE gave HIS only begotten son; that whosoever believes in HIM shall not perish but shall have everlasting life! Jesus didn’t understand the plan at the time, because all HE knew was that HE was a man who did no wrong and lived HiS life focusing on HIS Heavenly Father’s Business! HE desired to know why God would forsake HIM when HE was obedient to the call on HIS life. Why would Judas betray HIM, and why would Peter deny HIM when HE hand-picked them to be disciples? HE wondered why he was hated so much when all HE ever did was show everyone love?

Well, now we all know that Jesus came so that we may have life and have life abundantly! We now know that HE is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can get to the Father unless they have a relationship with HIM! We now understand that the horrific death of HIS crucifixion was a setup for HIS coming! Who would have thought that Jesus would have ascended on the 3rd day to live eternally with God!! That was the come-up for Jesus!! He went from death to life, and now sits on the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf!

While we deal with the trials and tribulations of this world and the people within; we must continue to walk by faith and not by sight knowing that God knows the plans HE has for us. Those plans to prosper us, never to harm us, but to give us hope and a good future!! The attacks will come, but no weapon formed against us will prosper!

Jesus is coming back to get the righteous of God in HIM, because HE promised that!! While HE prepares a place for us prior to HIS return, just know eternal life is at hand! God will never leave us nor forsake us; and though it seemed like that is what happened with Jesus, now we understand that it was all a set up for a come up!!!

Jesus is our Lord and the KING of Glory! Before it’s all over, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS Christ is Lord!!! Blessed is HE who has not seen but believes in Jesus’ name!!😇

Trust The Process ✝️

We all inevitably want the best results in anything in our lives. We desire the best health, the best jobs, the best marriages, the best businesses, the best friends, the best children, and we all crave the favor of God in our lives. And though we desire these things, they don’t always become a reality. We do not need the drama that comes with some relationships, we don’t want the disrespect, we do not like someone saying “no” to something we yearn for, we don’t want bad news, nor unexpected bills, nor disobedient children. But we have to trust the process. God allows tests before us time and time again to see if we trust HIM! Are we leaning towards our understanding or acknowledging HIM in all our ways? Are you walking by faith or in fear?

Remember, through trials and tribulations, we have to go through to get to the prize! We have to stay focused and trust the mark of the high calling! It’s not going to be easy all the time! The road of life will detour you to situations and places you never dreamed of being…BUT GOD! All HE wants us to do is trust HIM! We all have plans in life however, God has the final say!! A lot of the issues that we deal with are a result of the choices we have made in life however, nothing is too hard for God! HE will steadily pull us through, but it is imperative to trust the process. In most cases, it’s not an instantaneous fix, but HE promised to never leave nor forsake us! HE will see us through if we just do the following:

1. TRUST GOD whole heartily so the Holy Spirit can direct our path! (Proverbs 3:5-6 📖)

2. DON’T GET WEARY in well doing! Don’t give up, cave in, nor quit because we will reap that desired harvest if we faint not! (Galatians 6:9 📖)

3. PRAY without cease!! Make your request known to God…don’t be anxious about anything! Keep it real with HIM at all costs! Remember, HE knows and sees all! Share with HIM how you are feeling…request peace, strength, and joy throughout the journey! HE promised to supply all of our needs according to HIS riches in glory! (Thessalonians 5:17 – Philippians 4:16-19)

4. FAST as a living sacrifice showing God how faithful you are to trust HIM, HIS Word, and HIS way!!! This sacrifice demonstrates dependence on HIM and also brings supernatural results! (Ezra 8:23 – Isaiah 58:6📖)

5. READ & STUDY the word of GOD daily!! Focus on HIS promises. Use a concordance or Google (scriptures for whatever your situation is) to get the foundational scriptures to meditate on! If you desire healing, then Google healing scriptures. If you want peace, then Google Peace scriptures. Show yourself approved! (2 Timothy 2:15📖)

6. STAY FOCUSED on the LIGHT and don’t let Satan and his emps detour you, because HE will try to devour you through temptations, lies, and schemes. You must submit to God so Satan can flee in the name of Jesus!! (James 4:7 📖)

7. OBEY GOD and the Holy Spirit’s lead! Make wise decisions and ask for wisdom so God can supply it accordingly! (John 14:15 / Acts 5:29 / James 1:5 📖)

8. WAIT ON GOD!! HE will renew your strength. Though His timing is not our timing, HE is always on time! (Isaiah 40:31 📖)

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIM, so trust the process! It’s a guarantee that if you sow the seed of going through the trial and tribulations by trusting Jesus our savior, following the Holy Spirit as your guide, and staying focused on our Father God’s blueprint, which is the Bible …you will reap the harvest that you are believing HIM for! Weeping endures for a night, but joy will come in the morning! Trust the process because storms never last forever; they eventually pass in Jesus’ Name!🙏🏾

Crucified Like Christ ✝️

The reality of this life is knowing that we all have sinned and have fallen short of God’s glory. None of us is perfect like Jesus, who walked the earth loving, caring, sharing, and just living life to be a blessing! Though Christ is the example set before us, trials, tribulations, and temptations will come our way, but the question is…how do we respond to them? Do we respond in a carnal way or fear like the world? Or do we exemplify Christ in all that we do and say, despite of what or who we are dealing with?

Well as Christians, the start of pressing toward the mark of the high calling starts with renewing our mind. We must understand that though we live in this world, we are not of the world! When we made the quality decision to walk in the light things had to change. It is imparaitve that we crucify our flesh where we can obtain the grace and mercy of God, and receive HIS goodness, HIS favor and HIS freedom! For the son set free is free indeed!

No need to be in the bondage of Satan, suffering with the darts he throws our way! No need to be in people bondage, wondering who likes you, and trying to get validation from men! No need to go off on someone because they contributed to your offense. You, as a child of God, will either take the easy way out or the hard way out!!

God said If you remain in HIM and HIS word abides in you, ask whatever you desire and it will be done for you! The Bible is simply a blueprint. God knew that it wouldn’t be easy to die to our flesh and carry our cross. HE knew we would be tempted to roll with the pleasures of this world! HE knew there would be folks like Judas in our lives that we have to deal with! HE knew Satan was going to be in these streets seeking whom he could devour. That is why God sacrificed HIS only begotten son, so that we can have a good life and life eternally; but there is a faith walk we have to take! There is a relationship with Jesus that we have to pursue to get the blessings in abundance!

Jesus came that we might have life and life more abundantly! Don’t let anyone nor anything detour you from the path of righteousness! Here are a few steps to stay on the right track:

*DIE TO YOURSELF so you can bear spiritual fruit! (John 15:5-8 📖)
*EXEMPLIFY CHRIST in all things you do and say! (1 Corinthians 11:1 📖)
*KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT and stop blocking your blessings! (Proverbs 21:23 📖)
*STAY FOCUSED and don’t get distracted by Satan, His emissaries, nor the things of this world!
(Proverbs 4:25-27 📖)
*PRAY DAILY without cease! We need God daily, for without HIM we would be lost! HE is the air we breathe, and HE is the one who gives us life. So we must commune with HIM! (I Thessalonians 5:17 📖)
*STUDY DAILY to get stronger in the Word of God. This blueprint is spiritual nourishment for us to grow in Christ and to draw closer to HIM, where HE will draw nigher to us! (James 4:8 📖)
*OBEY DAILY because obedience is so much greater than sacrifice.
(1 Samuel 15:22 & John 14:15-16 📖)

It’s time for our lights to shine where other men see our good deeds so they can praise God in Heaven! It’s time for us to die to sin and be resurrected as a new creature in Christ! It’s time for us to walk by faith and not in fear! It’s time for us to do away with all burdens and focus on the blessings! It’s time for us to stand up for the Trinity and not be ashamed of the gospel; for it’s the power of God unto salvation!! Our crucifixion to our old selves will reward us with a blessed resurrected life, and an eternal life after the second coming of Christ!!

So take up your cross and walk in Jesus’ name!!☦️🙏🏾🛐🙏🏾✝️

wftw_Power In Your Praise!

Power In Your Praise! 💃 🙌🏽

I’m sure most people have heard this phrase, “When the praises go up, the blessings come down!” Though that actual statement is not a scripture in the Bible, it’s a true statement!

When we praise the Lord, it fosters a deeper connection with God, strengthens our faith, and brings joy, peace, and renewed strength, even in difficult times. Praise is a form of worship, and the Word of God tells us that God inhabits the praises of HIS people!!! So if HE loves this, and since HE tells us that when we delight ourselves in HIM, we shall receive the desires of our heart; then we need to give HIM all glory, all honor and all praise for what HE has done for us…for loving us and for never leaving nor forsaking us!!!

Remember, praise waters your faith!

If you can’t see an opportunity, you can’t seize it. Desperate people do desperate things, and praise is key!!

Also, praise is a great prescription for emotional pain…if people don’t understand your pain, they won’t understand your praise!

Please see this list of benefits that come as a result of praising God:

* GOD’S PRESENCE AND ENTHRONEMENT: When we praise HIM, we invite his presence and power into our lives. (Hebrews 4:16 📖)

* BLESSINGS & ABUNDANCE:

Praise can lead to blessings and abundance, as seen in the Bible, which states, “Let the people praise You, O God…then the earth shall yield her increase.” (Psalm 67:5-6 📖)

* FOCUS ON GOD: Praising God helps us shift our focus from our problems and circumstances to his greatness and promises, leading to a renewed perspective and hope. (Proverb 16:3 📖)

* FAITH & TRUST: Praising God, especially in difficult times, strengthens our faith and trust in him, as it acknowledges his power and control over all things.

(Proverb 3:5-6 📖)

* DELIVERANCE & MIRACLES: The Bible shows examples of how praise has led to deliverance and miracles, such as when Paul and Silas praised God in prison, and as a result, an earthquake followed, which released them from captivity. (Acts 16:16-40 📖)

* A WEAPON: Praise can be a powerful weapon against spiritual darkness, as it disrupts the enemy’s plans and invites God’s power into the situation. Demons tremble at the name of Jesus!!! (Psalm 149:6 / James 2:19 📖)

* GLORIFYING GOD: Praising God is a way to honor him and acknowledge his goodness and greatness, which is pleasing to him.

(1 Corinthians 10:31 📖)

* REMEMBERING GOD’S DEEDS: Praising God involves remembering the things HE has done for us, and the promises HE has made, which strengthens our faith and hope.

(Psalm 77:11-13 📖)

The Holy Spirit will be your strength when your heart desires to praise God! When you praise, your faith goes into execution! The Bible suggests that praising the Lord brings blessings, shifts focus to God, and can even lead to miracles or divine intervention, as it acknowledges God’s greatness and invites his presence. So let your praise lead to blessings and abundance in Jesus’ name!!!😇

wftw_Prayer-A Beneficial Habit

Prayer-A Beneficial Habit

🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
What is a habit? Webster’s Dictionary defines it as a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up. All of us have a habit of some kind, be it good or bad! However, an act that we should make a habit of is prayer! Not getting on our knees or reaching out to God only when we need something, but every day! The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, which is something we need at such a time as this! Prayer is simply a conversation with our Father, GOD!! It’s not deep, it’s not spooky, but it should be an intricate part of the relationship we have with HIM!!! How many folks do you have an intimate relationship with that you don’t talk to???🤔 Honestly, God shouldn’t be any different…we need to thank HIM daily, praise HIM daily, and talk to HIM daily to let HIM know what’s on our hearts!

Sooo many have a habit of picking up their cell phones as soon as they wake up in the morning to see who called, who texted, to see what’s going on with others on social media or even in the news! But what about a quick conversation with God first…just to say thank you for waking you up!! What’s most important…The things of the world or the things of God??

There are no excuses that are valid when it comes to prayer! Everyone is quick to reach out to God and HIS Son Jesus when there is a desire or a need (whether it be for healing, protection, peace, money, a spouse, a Job, or whatever)! So why can’t a habit be made out of prayer daily? The Bible tells us that God can not be mocked; He knows your heart!!! Blessed is he who believes in HIM but has not seen HIM! Just as you speak to others, you can talk to God! HE prefers you being real with HIM, and not vain repetitive prayers you memorize. Outside of I Love You…do you say the same thing to your family and friends every day? God should be no different.

For those that feel they don’t know how to pray, keep A.C.T.S. (Adoration, Confidence, Thanksgiving, and Supplication) in mind when communicating with God! HE is sure to hear you!

ADORATION: Focus on God, Honor and praise HIM for who HE is in your life! (Read John 4:24📖)

CONFIDENCE: Pray confidently believing and knowing that HE will answer according to HiS will! While speaking to HIM, trust that HE will adhere to all of HIS promises, and knowing HE will forgive us of all sins, those of omission and commission! The word tells us that when we pray, if we believe…we shall receive!!! (Read 1 John 5:14-15 📖)

THANKSGIVING: This is when we thank GOD for the many blessings in our lives, and thank HIM in advance for what we believe HIM for us. (Read Psalm 100:4 📖)

SUPPLICATION: This is simply praying for our needs and the needs of others. (Read Philippians 4:6 📖)

Remember that the effective and fervent prayers of a righteous man avail much! The word also says that ever we ask in Jesus’ name will be done to glorify our Father God in Heaven! So now is the time to make a point to pray daily! “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus!” Make prayer a lifestyle! Make God 1st priority in your life before any person, job, or tangible thing; and watch the benefits of the relationship with HIM rest, rule, and abide in your life in Jesus’ name!!😇
